my service has also gone down so I've done a little researching and their main UK host is OVH. try contacting them that's what I've done.

While that might be true but I feel like I could at least present my case to them and as I said in my email to them I'm willing to take out one of their Kimsufi ranges if they can reinstate my server on it.

I have also disputed payment to Dixhost and suggest everyone else do the same and if multiple people do it PayPal should see they've tried scamming and will most likely refund all and send a message to Dixhost regarding this.

Also is it possible they were reselling without a licence which is why all their servers seem to of disappeared?

I never had an issue with Kimsufi when I was with them.

I'm thinking they broke the terms and agreements and OVH shut the servers off.

I have filed a dispute case with paypal. Let's see what can be done to get the refund.

I got support reply from them.

First of all we ask for a big apology, we are very sorry but there are things that are not in our hands, a client performed a DDoS attack with magnitude of 3 Gbps for this reason the data center lock all our cabine, this problem had duration 1 day which represent lost to us but we prefer to have a happy customer, thanks for your understanding we will have to implement stricter measures to prevent this in the future, as we told him was something out of our hands you have noticed we always try to give the best service.

As did I. I will continue with them but I will be doing backups every 3 days or so I think.
