OVH Down?

Posted by Violent Injection, 06-20-2012, 09:54 PM
It seems my server at ovh is down and I cannot connect to their site. Anyone else having this issue?

Basically it seems their IDS diskspace was full and it "intervened on the backbone with bad decisions".

Still,we're going to set up a small HG with SAS and a lot of TB to prevent it happening again. Anyway,it's ridiculous to have a failure just because the script removed "permit ip any any".

Quoted for truth!

Should add a disk space alert (monitoring) while they're at it ;-)

I like how transparent they are with their core network status. Cheers for OVH letting those that care know exactly what is happening.

Yeah I like that they tell you what's going on. Be nice if they put their status thing off their own network but you can't have everything
