soladrive.com - down for the last 14 hours++

I have seen that soladrive.com often i recommended here at WHT, but the last 14 hours their website has been down.
Anybody who know why?

It's normally not a good sign when a website of a hosting company goes down for so long time.

Have you tried contacting them via email?

https://twitter.com/soladrive seems no update regarding the downtime from them.

I'm using soladrive seemed quite good at the start but having a few issues now my sites are still up but responding very slowly.

There facebook and twitter feeds have not been updated for months

Update soladrive responded to my email I sent to support, they checked my website and gave me some help which has improved the web sites speed now back to normal. I will be the first to admit more user error then an issue with the host.

Thanks for the kind feedback, we do apologize for the downtime caused. Our backup system is causing some issues for our main site as its maxing out the drive space and causing us to be temporarily locked out. We have fixed the backup configuration and our main site should be fine now. Just to clarify, no clients sites were effected during this downtime which is specifically why we host our main site separately from any server we own.
