Hi, cant access my site hosted on vps or the rockmyweb.net site. Is it down for everyone else to?

It came down to me twice today. The first took about 5 minutes. The second one (the one we are experiencing now) is over 30 minutes nearing one hour... I hope it doesn't take longer. I've PM'd devon about 30 minutes ago.

I thought their service it had a failover switch.

It's chicago that was hit. The Las Vegas is not down from my end.

As to what is causing this, I want to hear it very soon. I want to know how this will not happen again.

Yeah same here. Hopefully everything's back up very soon.

Hello,

Looks like last night our upstream provider had a network outage, appearing to be caused by a DDOS. Everything appears stable now.

@jutplus: We do have failover on our servers, but this does not help in network situations. These occurrences are rare and we do strive to give the best possible service we can!

When I am curious if my website, or someone else's, is down, I utilize http://downorjust.me.
