I have very bad experience with a7gz.com. I used them few months back. Better to stay away.

My VPS is back up, but very unstable. I keep getting automated emails from my cPanel saying a service couldn't start and I am unable to connect to it. I also opened a ticket and still haven't received any response.

Then how do you know it's back up?

Panel access?

Francisco

Well for one, the cPanel emails I am getting. Second, I am able to ping my VPS IP address. And third, I am getting "connection timed out" instead of just "unable to connect" when I try to visit my website.

Dear
You might have lost your password. If so then click on forget password option. Other wise you might have lost your web hosting identity.Let me clear about your problem specifically.

I am too not able to access my VPS.

I have been customer to A7gz com from past 6-7 months and there as not been a single month without problem. To be frank I have been able to use my VPS only 3 months out of 7 months that means it worked only 3 months out of 7.

So I'll suggest all of the Users out there. Don't go for cheaper offers from A7gz. if you believe I am just posting Spam here contact me @ deepak.k.oberoi (at) gmail (dot) com I can provide you proofs of my support tickets there is one for every month and one that goes 4-5 months longer. seems like a joke isn't it. and that's what A7gz has done to me. and now I am going to post it everywhere on the internet so no one else gona get in their trap anymore.

They are not even refunding me money ( that I paid in advance for one year ) for the rest of my period (5-6) months

So beware.

Just got another email from A7GZ. Apparently they are moving to a different data center...

Quote:
We are sorry for this down time of our services

That's because the last message you have received from us

We are transferring our services to a new datacenter

that's to give you a best services and best uptime

transfer process will finish within a few hours

you will get a new message with your new login information shortly

thank you for your patient

I got same reply from them. but can the tell us how many days it takes to move the data and how many time they move to new data centers how frequent?

I got this sort of reply 3rd time in a span of 5 months

Man, I can see this host going in to deadpool since they are loosing customers with downtime.

Posted by CBH-Nick, 10-18-2012, 10:01 PM
I just spoke with A7GZ and I found out that they are moving their server(s) to Limestone Networks and that they will be contacting everyone with their new IP addresses "soon".

Wow that company is still alive and not banned on WHT?

If you bother to search for a review before your purchase, you'd not have signed up with them.

That's the mistake I made. Now that I paid for a year, I am stuck with them and I can't get a refund.

Sorry to hear that, you can always file a dispute with your credit card company if you paid by credit card.

As usually, you can not win this round with this guy.

Posted by CBH-Nick, 10-19-2012, 12:32 AM
I got my IPs, but they got SSH blocked! WTF?

Posted by NHRoel, 10-19-2012, 12:33 AM
Getting cheap vps is not bad but getting and extreme cheap one like the one a7 selling is pure stupidity.

Stay away from a7gz . They are sucks . Poor hardware and oversold server . I am telling you from my personal experience .

Posted by CBH-Nick, 10-26-2012, 12:10 AM
Well this is really starting to suck... Been about a week now since they moved my VPS over and still no SSH or MySQL. I have sent them several emails just asking them to please tell me whats going on but not even a simple reply. I have had to purchase another VPS in the meantime until they can "hopefully" get this fixed. I really wish WHT would just ban them from advertising on here, they are a really poor quality VPS host that doesn't go by anything on their website...
  1. Their support is not 24/7/365
  2. They dont have a 99.9% uptime (more like 50% uptime)
  3. They dont respect their customers
  4. Their VPS aren't fully managed (not even semi managed)
  5. They are located in Egypt while their server is in USA?

I am really sorry that I went with A7GZ in the first place. They have been just nothing but trouble. I am thinking about contacting their new server provider to see if they might be able to tell me whats going on with them. Maybe some day my VPS will be working again but there's nothing much I can do but wait for A7GZ to get their poop in a pile...

Posted by JayNL, 10-26-2012, 04:25 AM
wow can't believe these frauds are still in business. TRUCKLOADS of negative reviews, totally incapable staff from a country far, far away and an uptime to cry about. That about sums it up

Posted by CBH-Nick, 11-01-2012, 12:41 AM
Well this just keeps getting better and better (not!)... Now I can't even login to my VPS through cPanel cause the buggers don't have a cPanel license! I can't even get into to their website to send them a 7th ticket, all I get is "Could not connect to the database". I guess I'm just going to have to fork out even more money for another VPS...

I was able to contact them using their live help on their website. I am guessing they're still moving their server over to the new datacenter...

Posted by KMyers, 11-02-2012, 12:56 PM
It sounds like they are being kicked out of their current providers network. I assume for abuse, budget VPS providers are often used to run abusive scripts such as DDoS, Proxies and other Botnets.

I have seen this happen in the past with other providers.

It's like this guy is dead! Seriously... I have been sending him tons of tickets since the middle of October and I haven't got one reply. How can you just move everyones VPS to a new server, do a half ass job and then just forget about it? He must be around though, cause it looks like "some how" the root password to my VPS got changed and now I can't reset it. Has anyone been able to get a hold of this guy?

i changed this hosting while ago. didnt really have a nice expereince!

Posted by CBH-Nick, 11-08-2012, 03:34 AM
I'm really ashamed to try and host anything on this VPS now. I was using it to run some PHP scripts since I paid for one year and I wanted to get my moneys worth out of it. But I guess thats not going to happen now that MySQL isnt even working and who knows if it will ever be working again. I have thrown in the towel and I am now using a new VPS to host my PHP scripts. The thing I don't understand also is that a7gz.com is still working 100% and accepting orders even though nothing seems to be working...
