3-29-2013 Westland Michigan, USA - SMR Hosting has announced their expansion into Germany. They are now offering German static IP addresses or shared IP addresses as part of their standard VPN service. The German Node is 1000MBPS and supports SSL, PPTP, L2TP/IPSEC. Their service as always has no concurrent connection limits or bandwidth limits.

In a blog post CEO David Cox announced that SMR Hosting will start providing Anonymous Proxy service to its VPN users for free at least for the time being. In the post Mr. Cox states that they have "added about 20 free proxies in Phoenix AZ and the Netherlands." This announcement comes on the heels of their acquisition of the LiquidVPN brand in February. LiquidVPN and SMR Hosting's future is talked about in a post on SMR Hostings Blog. The LiquidVPN client software will be based on the ultra popular Viscosity framework. Viscosity offers OpenVPN software for both the Mac and Windows Operating Systems. It is unclear at this time when LiquidVPN will go live but It is safe to say that SMR Hosting's Anonymous IP VPN Service is growing quickly.
