Joesdatacenter Down???

Posted by SWH-Ritchie, 03-02-2013, 02:52 PM
Hello everyone,

Anyone currently using JoesdataCenter? All my servers in their DC is not responding.

Traceroute stops with 4.53.34.138

Their main website is up. But their LiveCamera is not working.

The thing that really annoying me is both their Tollfree and their telephone line are not responding.

The Support department also not responding. What is going on???

Have servers down at Joe's and their phone system is having problems too or they're getting flooded with calls. It rings once and then goes to a busy signal.

Edit: As soon as I posted this, I got a reply on my ticket. They are having network issues and working on it.

Servers are back online, but responding very slow. Looks like they jumped off of Level3 and now using Hurricane Electric.

You're lucky. I'm still waiting for a response from them. Really frustrating when they dont care about the tension we get when we find our servers are down and the phone system is almost dead.

@ JoesDataCenter, If you're facing an issue like this, please do care to notify your customers.

Well I might of spoke too soon. Servers keep going up and down. But it is a sign they are working on it. Hopefully will be stable and constantly online soon. I agree with the notifications when unexpected downtimes happen (they do notify on planned outages). I checked their Facebook and Twitter pages and there's no updates on there either.

I think they have it resolved. My phone stopped getting flooded with text messages about servers up, down, up, down, up for about 10 minutes now. First text message was at 11:12AM CST (down) and seems to be stable (up) at 1:32PM CST.

I want to start by apologizing to all the customers that were effected by this outage. We had a corrupted internal routing table that caused intermittent issues while we were working on it and finally we had to restart some of our edge routing equipment which caused the entire network to go down temporarily. We had a dedicated team working on fixing the issue and a dedicated team working to respond to customers during the entire network issue. I apologize if we were unable to respond to your ticket but I assure you we were answering customer tickets and phone calls and trying to resolve the issue as best we could there were just more tickets coming in than we could answer. I know as of right now we have responded to all the tickets regarding the issue.
