Their website is down, that's true. But our BGP session with them is up and stable.

But your post seems like anti-spamhaus.

I also noticed that it's down for a long time now. They SBLed my IP block, I resolved the issue very quickly, and now I cannot get it removed. Better to just not use Spamhaus any more...

You have no choice because if they list then you have to get it removed. We sent email to them for removal and it bounced back.

I'm unable to email them, it doesn't bounce back but my mailserver logs show that it's unable to connect. What have they been doing for the past 2 days? Are they on vacation or just lazy? For a service that so many companies are using, they are acting very badly and showing incompetence.

They are harassment company but they should at least update their victims. Maybe they are too ashamed to get public attention and they are trying to hide as much as they could.

With this post I can see what is going on here. Because my handle is stophaus and this Andrew guy uses the same name on some Google Group, this means that I am he. Makes sense to the dumbest person alive. Since you posted the link I did read a little and it appears that this Andrew guy is making a ton more sense than any of the rest of you. Can you provide any references of Andrew being any of these things that are not posted by someone on this Google Group or on Spamhaus? I would love to see an honest opinion of him. I think he has a good BBB rating and a lot of support on freelancer sites and linkedin. Seems that the people in this group are the only people making these claims. Sounds like libel. Sounds like the reason I joined STOPhaus.

This thread looks a lot like nanae now. Wonder where all the hate spilled over from? Maybe they should keep their smear tactics on their own filthy boards until they come up with some proof that doesn't consist of Spamhaus and self-generated content.

I wonder why the attack didn't reach ns8.spamhaus.org. After all, that would be where the rest of their sites are hosted and the SBL reports go out from:

If it were my guess I would say that DDOSing spamhaus.org has the same effect as it did when Spamhaus SBLed all those sites of Andrew's as he sold his software from chat clients.

If I recall however, Andrew was able to receive requests from his clients during that time. Which is more than Spamhaus can say.

What was the plan Andrew posted years ago?

1. Change the way Spamhaus is seen in the media
2. Change the way the end-user sees Spamhaus
3. Offer a competitive solution

I think it was something like that. Looks like he is on step 2 right now to me.
