Hosting related stock photos

Posted by H0$T, 11-17-2013, 03:51 PM
Hey there,

I was wondering where i could get affordable hosting related stock or public domain images. I've gone through some of the popular websites but results have either been crappy image or absurdly expensive. Any direct link to any sort of resources is welcome.

Thanks

Photodune.net has some nice quality ones that are cheap, however they're not public domain.

Yep, and when the OP gets a copyright infringement notice, and is sued, are you going to stump up the $ ?

We are all in the same boat, you just need to find the one/s you like and find the stock site that is licensing the images. Recently went thru this and we had to spend a "little bit" (about $50) to licence the images for our site.

I have it documented somewhere the Stock Sites we used

If you have physical access to your server, it would be a good idea to take the pictures yourself.

Or use photos of something completely different. Hosting-related stock photos are not particularly inspiring if you've seen five of them, and I bet everyone has.

Agreed. They all look boring, hence the dilemma

I guess if you want a server picture it would have to be quite boring, because most data centers look the same and most servers also look the same
