Is anyone actually down at securedservers ? Or just their site? Monitoring has not noticed any service disruptions and client sites hosted with them are loading without issues.

Hi Everyone-

Our website is in fact down at the moment, as we're experiencing a 40Gig+ DDoS attack on our network. Our team is working quickly to fully mitigate the attack and we expect to be back online shortly.

It's important to note that this large scale attack is not, and has not affected any of our customers, and we have not received a single customer complaint regarding access or performance of their infrastructure.

A single DDoS attack, even of this magnitude, does not affect our customers due to the measures we've taken with our architecture to prevent such occurrences.

Thank you for your patience while we work to bring the site back up.

I am sorry to hear that! Keep up the good work!

The other day they needed 4 hours to upgrade a server from 16Gb to 32Gb, then after some hours and when the server started to get load it rebooted several times, then about an hour just to remove the faulty memory.

Just unbelievable!

Well, they do state 4 hour replacements or 4 hours for anything... so not much complaining there.. but the faulty memory that is a human error... did they fix it for you immediately?

The problem was that I scheduled the upgrade and it took 4 hours because the server didn't come up!. I'm still running at 16Gb because I couldn't afford beign down more time.

I have to re-schedule the upgrade and hope it works at once.

ah, well if your going to schedule it properly, I would recommend speaking to their sales dept first... those people are amazing tell theme exactly what you need and they will ensure it happens at the correct time. Also for this to work properly schedule it early in the morning when the sales dept is there like right now would be a good time... but don't do it at night.

Well we had to do it at night since it's when most of hour customers does not use the system. We have customers in South America, Mexico and USA using SecuredServers/SoftLayer servers.

Right now I have to find other provider to move our servers to, if you have any recommendation please help me:

Thread #8647628 (I can't post links)

Thanks!

I would stick with PhoenixNap, I would highly speak to either one of the Chad's from sales or with Rebecca or Dan R... they will ensure this never happens to you. but, moving out from PhoenixNap for such a small issue isn't worth it at all.
