My Dacentec server is fine, it looks like it's just you.

Their web site appears to be up and running as well.

Up for us too. Email support@dacentec.com or open a ticket.

Thanks. My server was powered off somehow (Power Supply bad?). Customer support got it back up.

Great! All our services are online at Dacentec and have been since they swapped out that older hardware for the network. Services have been stable. Thanks, Dacentec!

It was actually a faulty power cable that caused my server to turn off. Technical support did fix it promptly after opening a ticket request.

Good! It is always better to call the web host or to create a support ticket with them. Opening a thread at WHT does not help to resolve technical issues. If you get scammed or ignored you'd come say that. Otherwise it makes more sense to speak to your provider.

When I first couldn't ping my server or ssh into the box, I thought it was a network outage, hence I posted in the "Providers and Network Outages and Updates" section. I did also open a support ticket which takes a few hours for a response. In the meantime my server was completely unreachable and I don't know why. After posting this thread and reading the helpful comments from others that their servers at Dacentec were fine, it helped me to eliminate the network outage as the cause and zero in on some kind of hardware failure. Opening this thread helped me in that regards and if it was a power outage would probably have provided a heads up to others using their service. So I don't see anything wrong with posting this. Also I wouldn't post any "scammed or ignored" threads in the "Providers and Network Outages and Updates" section.
