Futurehosting Down?

Posted by dolay, 08-12-2013, 01:02 PM
I have moved from hostgator because of the huge out-gates now Futurehosting.com server is down, what can I do?

Find another provider I guess. Futurehosting seems to be down alot for some reason, Ive seen alot of post about them being down. Try to find another host with better uptime. What are your requirements?

Hello Dolay -

I am very sorry to hear about issues with your service. Do you have a ticket ID? I can have that ticket looked at ASAP for you.

And to clarify, we are not having any widespread outages - nor have we at all recently.

Why do you think they are down? Are you sure your IP wasn't temporarily blocked in one servers firewall, or something similar?

Yes

and they are telling that the server is not down

so I post

Ticket ID is BHAP-8709

I have rebooted it so it comes back but what if I was not on the site at this time?

I pay about $150 for site host because I want to make it up and running without a problem however your supporters are not looking into the logs although I have asked for the reason of the out-gate and I need it life important to fix this issue permanent and thats why I choose your service and give up hostgator.

a dead ping doesn't mean dead hardware or downtime in that way, as suggested was firewalling or something else not at play here causing your issue? To many people point fingers so fast now. hope you get it resolved and keep us posted.

Ask FutureHosting about their "Future Engineer Pro Server Management (Dedicated)" management service ... it is a proactive service that monitors your server 24/7, and reacts as soon as something goes wrong. It will probably add $15 to your monthly bill, but it sounds like it would be worth it for you (hiring a server management company to monitor your server would be many times this amount).

Thank you I will try Pro Server Management

Do one thing. Give a last chance to hostgator and still if you fill that they are not full filling your expectations then you have many options.
