Posted by ishan, 09-04-2013, 09:57 AM
Burst.net not opening, neither are our servers.

Up now.

Another DDOS ?

How long was it down for you?

Posted by ishan, 09-04-2013, 10:08 AM
About 5 minutes.

Posted by JPerkster, 09-04-2013, 10:09 AM
We had an outage that hit around 300 servers that lasted for about 2-4 minutes. This has been happening quite often recently

Not sure this will help. In the past few weeks, every time we've attempted to call them, we've sat on hold in queue for over a half hour before hanging up.

Phone rings once and goes to busy for me right now.

Mine just came back up.

Phone goes right to busy. It seems like there's a DDOS attack? I'm getting lookup host errors and none of my emails are being sent on my dedicated.

Hi,

We're seeing the same things. If you can access your server, ensure you are/were *not* using Level 3's DNS resolvers. Remove 4.2.2.* from your DNS resolvers, and either add their public ones, or use Google.

However, as of 10 minutes ago, this was fixed globally somehow, as we're no longer seeing problems.

You have 300 servers there?

Posted by any410pin, 09-04-2013, 02:48 PM
This is sooo sad -- we had two BurstNet servers for around three years. No problems at all. Now, every time I poke my head into this forum I see an unread (for me) thread about BurstNet.

Come on BurstNet. I know you are capable of excellence - You were, just a few years ago. Pick it up and you will be great again!

Posted by gingir, 09-04-2013, 02:49 PM
why "again"?
can't see any thread about an outage

I had a bad experience with burstnet.eu, but had the impression burst.net was a good company.

EDIT
I suppose you meant this one http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1294275

Just some hiccups following alot going on here in past month, and shifting around alot of network pieces and circuits.
Nothing to be concerned heavily about....everything will be much smoother moving forward, as it has been for past 5 years or so.

Nice how you have time to post on the forums yet our tickets are unanswered for days, and servers go undelivered. Please check your PM.

We are waiting 2 weeks now to get a faulty harddrive replaced and our clients KVM, Remote Reboot ports and Private LAN's reconnected.

Multiple phone calls, all get dropped after 2 hours and 2 duplicate tickets later ... still we have seen no action after 2 weeks.

Including VM's dedicated servers, and share servers, that's correct.

We too have been waiting two weeks. The only reply we ever received was a copy and paste one that is floating around another thread...after that just crickets chirping.
