singlehop outage?

Posted by R1CH, 09-11-2013, 04:43 AM
Getting very weird behavior from singlehop. Can't access LEAP or any of their other services from my own IP and my server is unreachable... except via ICMP. Pings go through just fine, everything else is blocked. Seeing a lot of outgoing packet loss too. Other people report problem and some report none, and using a US VPN I can get in fine.

Code:
                                                               Packets Pings

I'm not having any issues with my box at SingleHop.

Nothing shown here either: http://ot.singlehop.com/

R1CH try to use VPN, maybe your IP is blocked. Also, contact them via live support.

I can get in fine by connecting from a different server, and several other IPs on the server are working fine, only certain IPs seem affected. I'm having a hard time reaching support since LEAP is also unreachable, their phone support can't hear me and their email support said it was an abuse issue because I have an open false positive abuse ticket they forgot to close. Fun times.

I have the same problem, in our Office we can connect fine, my mobile can connect fine to SingleHop but my Home ISP is having big problems and I can't reach any of our servers.

They are aware of it now according to the status page (apparently I can't link to it - despite having a bunch of posts here, the board seems to only think I have 2?!). I'm disappointed it took three hours before they posted a status update about it though, I would hope they noticed before then!

Yeah, it just seems weird as I can connect to our servers else where but I can't via my home ISP.

It was even weirder earlier - pings were going through but not SSH or HTTP, and some other IPs on the same server were fully reachable even in the same subnet. Very odd.

Posts in the outage section don't count towards your actual post count.

If it helps any, I've had zero connectivity issues. But they have at least acknowledged the issue and appear to be working through it.

Seems like things are back up for me at least.
