Seems like again. All the servers are down. 3rd or 4th time in same month.

Their site is down too..this is very disappointing from HostDime.

Their site is back up as well as their other brands which were down just now. Network wide issue I guess.

This time it was few minutes and come online back.

5-6 minutes (I only counted about 5) of downtime is fine. It's expected every once in a while. Much more than 5 minutes and you start pushing that limit.

Hello all,

We are actively investigating the 5-6 minute networking difficulty a portion of our data center experienced this morning. Please do note though that it was a portion though, not network wide as previously stated in this thread. We will analyze the situation and put measures in place to prevent against future issues such as the same.

It is important for everyone to know before purchasing host that company outage history from webhosting stuff.

To update everyone, there was a large DDOS to a client on our network at 5:40 AM EST which effected some other racks in the vicinity. Our ddos tools detected and mitigated the attack within 5 minutes. Those effected saw everything back to normal by 5:45 AM EST

No one likes downtime, DDOS is something everyone deals with. It was handled within 5 minutes, we will continue to improve on these type of attacks.
