I would like to keep everyone informed of our situation.

We have been hacked. Our core switch has been compromised this morning. The hacker gained access to our core switch, isolated all ports, disabled the uplink ports. We have no idea how they could have bypassed our security. The Certified Cisco network engineer has no idea as well. However, our service is now restored, running on our back up equipments.

It has been 3 weeks of continuous DDoS and many types of hacking attempts. We have been doing everything we could to keep our service up, at all cost.

We are able to pin down the hackers from CHINANET shanghai province network, and has a patten of working on Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm in their time zone. I truly believe that they are professional, while their intention is still unclear to us. We will try our very best to keep our service up.

Our new equipments will arrive soon, and our hired professional will be on his way from the US to help us with the upgrade soon.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Regards,
Defoe Chan
