Denver, Colorado – Handy Networks, LLC, one of Denver’s top colocation and dedicated server hosting providers, today announced it has achieved SSAE 16, SOC II, Type II standards compliance. The report was completed for the period from July 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012. Assessed by auditors from Yusufali & Associates, LLC the examination covered Handy Networks’ downtown data center facility.

“We are proud to have made it through the rigorous process of a SSAE 16 audit,” said Jay Sudowski, Handy Networks Co-Founder & CTO. “Receiving this certification demonstrates our commitment to provide customers with truly exceptional colocation and dedicated hosting services.”

SSAE 16 replaces the aging SAS 70 standard and provides assurance that Handy Networks maintains appropriate controls and operating procedures as part of its commitment to provide their customers with quality, value and partnership. Handy Networks makes all compliance documentation available to customers upon request. The report may be used by Handy Networks’ customers and their auditors to support their own compliance and certification efforts.

“Our SSAE 16 certification is a critical assurance for customers who host their applications within our data center,” added Mike Griffin, Handy Networks Co-Founder & COO. “Our customers can now have the highest level of confidence in our operations, data center infrastructure controls and security.”

“Working with Jay Sudowski and Michael Griffin and their staff was truly a memorable audit experience. Both Jay and Michael did not want to settle for anything but excellence and professionalism, with no compromises of quality or security. They worked hard and smart to ensure that they met all the SOC II Principles and Trust Services Criteria. Moreover, they aimed higher and also exceeded the expectations for the COSO Requirements. We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to certify them with the SOC II Type II Certification,” noted Yusuf Musaji, Audit Partner, Yusufali & Associates, LLC.
