Rochen Limited today announced the immediate rollout of the companys new remote backup system for shared, reseller and managed dedicated server customers.

In addition to Rochens standard data backup procedures the company will now be capturing full off-site backups of all customer data. Rochen will be securely copying the backup data to a remote storage facility, away from their primary file-servers, using Network Access Storage (NAS) technology.

Many web hosting providers offer off-server backups, but few are going to the lengths of actually capturing full off-site remote backups, inclusive within the cost of the customer's web hosting plan. It is our hope that this service will provide our customers with added piece of mind when storing their important data with Rochen said Chris Adams, Managing Director at Rochen Limited.

Although Rochen will incur significant data transfer and implementation costs for this new service, the remote backup system will be provided to all customers free of charge.
