Ivialis Networks Now Offers Flash Tutorials

Ivialis Networks is taking its slogan, All Roads Lead to Ivialis seriously with its expansion into selling web hosting-related Flash tutorials. This development shows that the fairly young company is staking a more permanent claim in web hosting, a business notorious for its instability and rapid change.

The tutorial movies were originally developed to improve support for Ivialis customers. We wanted to create them ourselves, says Ivialis Networks Vice-President Ryan Hornor. Most companies dont offer more than twenty demos on a hosting control panel. We wanted to offer demos for every feature, and basically remove the need for our customers to consult the control panel documentation for help. And so they did. On September 1th Ivialis released its first two series of cPanel (RVblue theme) and WebHost Manager tutorials, with no less than 105 individual movies in all, and with more on the way. The demos explain and demonstrate nearly all the functions of both control panels, from the basic (adding and modifying email accounts) to the not-so-basic (adding cron jobs with advanced commands).

During the creation process of the tutorials, the vision of the company expanded and turned outward. After getting started, Hornor adds, we realized that we have a pretty marketable product. We felt that we were creating demos that were as good as anything already out there and we should offer them to other hosting companies. Ivialis Networks now offers the tutorials as part of their reseller hosting packages as an incentive and markets them to other web hosting providers.

Though at this point, the tutorials are sold in packages, there are plans to start selling them individually for customers who may already have purchased a core set of demos and are only interested in adding some of the more obscure topics that Ivialis Networks features. The company has also started developing movies for other cPanel and WebHost Manager themes as well as other applications, such as ModernBill and ClientExec.
