LONAP SUPPORTS EXPLOSIVE GROWTH IN INTERNET TRAFFIC

4th November 2005, LONDON, UK

LONAP, (www.lonap.net), the fast growing London-based Internet Exchange Point
(IXP), today launches a 10 Gigabit per second (10 Gbps) network ring,
connecting its existing sites and a brand new point of presence.

With the continuing explosive growth in demand for bandwidth, these
significant enhancements ensure that over 50 members of LONAP, who include
the BBC and Akamai, will continue to access a pioneering, broad and
high-capacity IXP.

LONAP's new network ensures members are able to exchange data directly across
a much faster and even more resilient connection. Meanwhile, the new point
of presence at Redbus Sovereign House guarantees such high capacity
interconnectivity is possible with an even wider pool of potential partners.

Adam Crisp of VoIP.co.uk said "LONAP's ongoing commitment to developing its
network not only enables VoIP.co.uk to cost-efficiently connect to a growing
group of industry players but also offers the capacity to meet the increasing
demands of our users." Mr Crisp continued "At a time of such rapid growth, we
are glad to be working with such a forward-thinking connectivity partner."

Denesh Bhabuta, Finance Director of LONAP commented "I am delighted that this
crucial next stage in our development is now complete. The 10 Gbps ring
delivers the increased capacity our members need to respond to new customer
demands. With the new point of presence at Redbus Sovereign House, even
more companies can take advantage of the current promotion that provides the
10 Gbps connections at no extra cost".

James Rice, Technical Director, said "The upgrade provides the scalability,
resiliency and increase in throughput that our professional members demand.
The new 10 Gbps ring uses Cisco catalyst 6500 series switching platform not
only for reliability but to create vendor diversity from other exchanges,
minimising the risk of vendor related outages."

About LoNAP: (www.lonap.net)
Established in 1997, LoNAP (www.lonap.net) is a mutual Internet Exchange
Point (IXP) which offers its members (typically ISPs and content providers)
the opportunity to connect to its switch fabric and exchange traffic with
other members. The membership fee is GBP 500+VAT per quarter (or 175 per
month) and allows a member to connect two ports to the exchange for
redundancy at speeds of up to 10 Gbps. ISPs wishing to connect to LONAP can
currently do so at four neutral London Docklands based datacentres, the key
hubs of the U.K. Internet: Telehouse North, Telehouse East, Redbus Harbour
Exchange and Redbus Sovereign House.
