Intergenix Releases New Version and Editions of the PortGenix Internal Monitor

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - Nov. 29, 2005 - Intergenix LLC, a new jersey based technology solutions provider, announced this week that it has released version two of the PortGenix internal monitor Server Edition; a host based intrusions detection and prevention system, a system monitoring tool, and a server and application performance monitor. Intergenix also unveiled the release of two new editions of the PortGenix internal monitor; the PortGenix Datacenter Edition and Enterprise Edition.

Malicious traffic coming into an organization cannot always be prevented through firewalls and network based intrusion prevention systems. Due to the critical nature of web sites and internet based services, it is inefficient to wait until you are notified of a problem to occur before fixing it. Unlike external security and monitoring solutions, the PortGenix internal monitor was designed to be a last chance security tool running from within a server to prevent and to detect anomalies and other intrusions as they happen.

With close to 30 modules, the PortGenix internal monitor is also much more then a security tool. It can be used to gain helpful insight on the performance of applications and servers. The performance monitor within the PortGenix internal monitor can gather close to 100 different performance matrixes on a typical server. Additionally, the performance monitor can display performance matrixes for any and all applications running on a server, including open source, commercial, and proprietary applications.
