Dallas, Texas - January 14, 2007 - ByteFortress Technologies (www.bftglobal.com) - A Dallas Texas based IT firm specializing in Information Security and Disaster Recovery Solutions; has announced the acquisition of Digital Zones (www.dzones.com). A webhosting firm that has been providing high quality cPanel based Shared and Reseller Webhosting Services since 1999. The transaction was closed and finalized on January 12th. Digital Zones CEO, Tom Latto will be joining the ByteFortress organization as their newly appointed Director of Sales and Business Relations.

The acquisition of Digital Zones will expand ByteFortress' ByteShack (www.byteshack.com) client base. ByteShack will build upon Digital Zones' customer relationships by providing value added features such as 24x7 Toll Free Phone, Live Chat and E-mail Technical Support. All customers will also enjoy the availability of cutting edge technology such as: Tomcat JSP, Ruby on Rails, and Django.
