UK2.net, the leading UK hosting provider, has just announced a massive increase in the amount of monthly data transfer provided with all its dedicated servers. Once again, UK2.net are pioneering the progression of the hosting industry by providing such a generous allowance included with all dedicated servers.

This massive increase in allowance is available to both new and existing customers, who will now benefit from a whopping 10000GB monthly data transfer with 100Mb connectivity. New customers will get this as standard and existing customers previously on the 2000GB option have already been automatically upgraded. This means that customers will get 5 times more bandwidth than before, giving much greater peace of mind regarding usage levels.

Although many hosting providers choose to promote “Unlimited Bandwidth” offers on their dedicated servers, UK2 advise customers to be wary. “Nothing is ever unlimited, so customers should read the small print” commented Ditlev Bredahl, CEO of UK2.net, “You could be subject to dodgy fair usage policies, capping, or be part of an oversold network that would limit your transfer rates significantly with low pings and latency”

UK2.net takes pride in its state of the art network infrastructure, with 100% uptime in 2007, and promises customers that they can transfer 10000GB per month, for free. “I am extremely excited by our bold move and am very interested to see how the market reacts and evolves” states Ditlev.
