NetDepot ( www.netdepot.com ) a premier brand of Global Net Access, LLC.( www.gnax.net ) announces the implementation of Toplayer IPS ( www.toplayer.com ) .
After a year of testing and code development Netdepot has implemented the Toplayer IPS solution.
The units are deployed in high availability failover pairs and as such can account for asymetric traffic flows.

According to Jeff Hinkle the President of GNAX We have been very impressed with Toplayer. They worked with us to develop code enhancements very specific to our data center and our business that take into account threats unique to the hosting and colo business. None of the other vendors we encountered were interested in taking this approach. We now have a strategic relationship between Netdepot / GNAX for ongoing threat analysis / code development and testing. This means our customers will always get access to the latest threat supression specific to their issues.

The two companies development teams are on a first name basis now and talk weekly.

The DDoS protection we evaluated in the product far exceeded our expectations and the deep packet inspection also exceeded the other vendors in our tests for threats specific to our environment.

We feel like our customers have the best protection on the market now and we appreciate their patience while we conducted evaluations and worked with the vendor to tailor a solution to meet their needs.
