"We have two very exciting company acquisitions that are in the works. Both companies are well known market leaders in their respective niches, and we will be pleased to bring them under the OC3Networks’ corporate umbrella." says OC3Networks’ owner, Ilan Mishan.

OC3Networks also announced network-related upgrades which includes the turn up of 2 additional 10Gigabit transit bandwidth circuits to further expand network capacity as well as multiple 10Gig transport ring between 3 separate and diverse buildings in which OC3Networks distributes backbone uplinks for redundancy.

"Our goal is to ensure that we have more capacity then we will ever need at any specific time. This allows our clients to feel secure in the knowledge that they can demand a sudden bandwidth increase, at any time, and not suffer through the effects of congestion." says Ilan Mishan. Further adding, "By providing our customers with guaranteed resource and availability to allow their websites to grow, we not only satisfy them but we satisfy their customers as well!”

Along with the recent network upgrades, OC3Network's also has recently completed a major physical datacenter expansion for the Los Angeles Colocation and Dedicated Server Market.

OC3Networks’ expansion included executing a multi-year lease with the building and completing a build out of 6,000 square feet of colocation space on the 6th floor of 530 W. 6th Street in downtown Los Angeles. This datacenter is now immediately ready for hosting and server colocation. This is the third of such upgrade OC3 has completed.

OC3Networks is now currently building out a fourth datacenter space with an additional 6,000 square feet on the 9th floor of the same building. Completion of this datacenter is expected to be by end of February 2008.

"It is known that datacenter space and power is in high demand in downtown Los Angeles and we are adding space as quickly as possible to meet that growing demand. Being one of the largest privately owned Los Angeles colocation providers in the area, and definitely the most redundant provider network in the Los Angeles area, it comes as no surprise. Upon completion of the 9th floor build out we will have an estimated 30,000 square feet of datacenter space. Each of our floors - the 3rd, 6th, 8th, and 9th all feature fully protected UPS battery backup and emergency generator power. Our clients can concentrate on the advancement of their own business, leaving the technical challenges to us." says Alex Ferrier, newly appointed VP of Sales and Operations.

"Taking pride in our company as a whole allows us to offer Managed Hosting on an entirely new level. We love what we do, and we love being in the datacenters business. We are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we are here with highly skilled and experienced staff.” adds Alex Ferrier.
