Newservers Launches Dedicated Utility Servers For $0.11 Per Hour

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, MAY 6, 2008 — NewServers, today announced the launch of on-demand dedicated utility servers with hourly billing. Hourly billing allows clients to pay for the hours they use and scale up or down as their traffic dictates. NewServers’ innovative hourly billing model is made possible by a propriety automated backend NOC management system and a secure scalable data center architecture. NOC automation allows dedicated utility server clients to provision or cancel servers in real time based on their up to the minute needs.

“It’s expensive to have server capacity for best case marketing results,” said JP Gagne, president of NewServers. “It’s more expensive when you find success and your servers can’t handle it.” “By providing on-demand servers and hourly billing, NewServers allows our clients to scale and not waste money on overcapacity.” “In addition, our decision to offer physical dedicated servers provides advantages over shared server (VPS) platforms such as Amazon EC2,” said Mr. Gagne.

"NewServers really affected my bottom line in a positive way,” said Murat Sarikaya, president of MsXLabs, a popular Turkey based forum at www.msxlabs.org. “We were suffering at another server company due to their inability to turn up additional servers in a timely manner. After switching to NewServers and their scalable hourly billing model, we realized it’s much more profitable when your server problems go away.”

Additionally, the current NOC automation enables real time server provisioning, billing management, remote reboot, remote OS install, bandwidth graphing and KVM Access. “In the next 30 to 60 days, we will introduce additional server and hardware upgrade configurations, NOC automation features and our open API,” said Mr. Gagne.

All server activations receive free set up and hardware load balancing to facilitate automated scaling and clustering.

Through May 31st 2008, all new server activations receive 1TB monthly bandwidth for as long as you lease the server.
