WiredTree Rolls out New Web site, Virtual Private Servers, Dedicated Servers

CHICAGO (June 9, 2008) – WiredTree (http://www.wiredtree.com), a leading provider of Managed Dedicated and Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting solutions, today unveiled a newly rebuilt version of its company Web site, coinciding with major changes to its VPS and Dedicated hosting plans.

In time for the summer hosting season, the new Web site features an enhanced aesthetic scheme and improved navigation and page layouts. Enhancements have been made to make the site more intuitive for new users and friendly to search engines and screen readers. The design firm Loading Deck was retained for the project.

With the design changes, WiredTree also rolled out improvements to its line of VPS plans. The company added the VPS768 plan, offering 768MB of guaranteed SLM RAM and 80GB RAID-10 Disk Space. VPS768 starts at just $85/monthly and includes access to WiredTree’s proprietary, award-winning Grove Client Portal.

WiredTree’s Hybrid VPS plans now allow up to 4GB of RAM and up to 4 dedicated CPU cores. VPS nodes have been upgraded to Dual Xeon Harpertowns with more than 20GB of RAM and 8 disk hot-swap RAID-10 arrays, offering superior data reliability and security.
For Dedicated hosting, WiredTree has revamped its plans to make them more competitive and cost effective in the hosting marketplace. It has added new energy efficient CPUs and a wider array of high-end RAID and SA-SCSI options, increasing choice and flexibility for customers.

“As WiredTree continues to grow to service a larger and more diverse array of small to medium sized businesses, it is important we enhance our products and services to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market,” said Zac Cogswell, WiredTree president. “After nearly a year of development, the changes we have rolled out today – both to our Web site and services – demonstrate our commitment to remaining agile and competitive for our customers in the long term.”
