WebHostingBuzz Moves Into Private Hosting Cage at Atlanta NAP

Delaware (PRWEB) November 4, 2008 -- WebHostingBuzz, a class leading provider of reseller hosting and fully managed dedicated servers, today announced that it has completed the move into its own private hosting cage facility capable of housing over 1000 servers. The move will allow WebHostingBuzz to meet current demands, further expand its services, and delivering on its commitments to provide unparalleled hosting security and reliability in its class.
The move into its own private hosting cage allows WebHostingBuzz to safeguard its network of expensive web servers and the data residing on them, as well as improving network performance and reliability. WebHostingBuzz's private hosting cage is located at AtlantaNAP data center in Atlanta."The WebHostingBuzz facility here at AtlantaNAP will help them grow securely and reliably in the future. They have plenty of room here, so I don't expect they'll be overloading servers anytime soon. For maximum security, WebHostingBuzz's cage is equipped with motion detecting IP cameras as well as a ten foot razor fence." said Jeff Hinkle, Atlanta NAP's CEO.
Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), a Cisco proprietary redundancy protocol for establishing a fault-tolerant default gateway, is used to provide redundant internet and network connections to WebHostingBuzz's private cage. The protocol establishes a framework between network routers in order to achieve default gateway failover if the primary gateway should become inaccessible.
Like other servers already used by WebHostingBuzz, the servers at the AtlantaNAP location will have 8 CPU Intel Xeon processors and 8 GB of RAM for increased performance. The servers cooled by Atlanta NAP's N+1 cooling towers and redundant N+1 pumps. To further improve the performance, this facility also sits directly on one of Atlanta's main fiber backbones and is part of a metro ethernet ring based on Extreme Networks 10 gigabit technology. "We are always looking to stay ahead of the curve with our web hosting technology. Our private hosting cage allows us to expand our business securely without overloading our servers or compromising our uptime. This means our customers will not have to suffer from hosting downtime or slowness through any growth we experience as a company," said Matt Russell, WebHostingBuzz's COO. "We are also aware of with global climate change being an issue facing the world, we are pleased to have partnered with the International Tree Foundation to help offset the carbon emissions produced when generating the electricity to power our servers", says Safvan Malik, CEO, "We are investing in a number of tree plantation projects at present, and will continue to invest over the course of the next 5 years."
